Artist's Description
In the winter storm of 2024 at the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, the photo encapsulates the rugged and dramatic transformation of the landscape under the influence of the elements. The scene is dominated by a tumultuous display of nature's power, with the Columbia River appearing more formidable than ever.

The storm has intensified the currents, creating dynamic patterns and waves that crash against the rocks along the shoreline. About Maggy Marsh
We, as a people are surrounded by art. While one person may see the same, every day monotonous object, the next may see an ideal composition for a photograph, or sit and sketch for hours on end. Presented are vibrant images, as well as the simplistic black and white, depending on how it felt at the time of processing. Completing the last step before printing it or putting it on my website is usually my weakness, so one may find large gaps between new works, as leatherworking is also something enjoyed. Viewers are respectfully reminded my works are copyright protected.

An extraordinary image, Maggy. In my neighborhood, the ice arrived with the snow, and I really missed hiking. The sidewalks and roads turned to sheet ice faster than I've ever experienced.
